The session is based on our experience running master-level courses in which diversity is leveraged by assigning multicultural groups of students to work on projects with local companies (community-engaged learning). Over the last five years, we have collected reflections from more than 200 students related to cross-cultural collaboration. Alongside data gathered from interviews with teachers on internationalisation, these insights were used to create a course for educators on “Managing an Intercultural Classroom.”
DZS is a contributory organization established by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. DZS boasts a history of more than 40 years, with its core mission centered on facilitating programs focused on international education and promoting Czech education abroad. Its other activities include providing consultancy in the field of international education, organizing seminars and training sessions, publishing informational materials, and conducting promotional activities. Among the programs administered by DZS are Erasmus+, AIA, Aktion Czech Republic-Austria, CEEPUS, EEA and Norway Grants, Study in the Czech Republic, and others.
